A Little About Us
In 1999 we had no idea what we were starting when we had a simple idea. We wanted to showcase our businesses at a women’s Christmas tea. We had 10 ladies who asked to sell their products with us. These are women we had known through Bible study for years, but had no idea they owned their own businesses. We began to see a need for women to be able to sell in a professional environment.
Before we knew it, “Mommy Days” was born! By our 3rd year, we out-grew our church venue and were guided by our Bible study leader to move to a larger venue. She could see something happening with our show…something we did not yet see.
Over the next few years we went to different hotels all over Baton Rouge until we out-grew them all. That is when we found the Belle of Baton Rouge – this was a very scary leap of faith. Little did we know we would eventually fill the entire Atrium along with every other room the Belle could offer.
We are humbled and stand in awe of the people that God has put in our journey over these years that have made Mistletoe Market what it is today. We are so proud of our staff that has helped develop a unique multi-community show. We are always excited with anticipation to see what God has in store for Mistletoe Market in the future. So, thank you for joining our journey, and most of all, for your support.
